For marrying a Dalit, BJP MLA threatens to kill female offspring, seeks protection

Bareilly : Days when a stunning revelation by a state BJP legislator’s female offspring that her father was when her life for marrying a Dalit boy, the girl on Thursday filed a petition in judicature, whilst Bareilly MLA Rajesh Misra denied the accusation and aforementioned their age distinction matters.

Misra’s female offspring Sakshi had free a video in conjunction with her husband, claiming that the couple face a threat to their lives from her father.

She had married Dalit youth Ajitesh Kumar on national holiday.

In the video Sakshi was seen voice communication that as a result of she married Ajitesh against the needs of her family in a very temple, she faces threat to her life from her father.

“My father can kill Maine and my husband if he finds U.S.A.. He cannot tolerate his female offspring marrying a boy from a Dalit family. My father’s men are attempting to trace U.S.A.,” she is seen voice communication.

The couple is seen appealing to the police to produce them protection, as officer claimed that solely a written grievance is acted upon.

On Thursday, Sakshi affected the Allahabad judicature, seeking protection.

In her petition, Sakshi expressed that she and her husband face threat to life from her father and alternative relations. She claimed to be a significant (above eighteen years of age) and he or she aforementioned had married the person of her selection with none pressure.

She aforementioned that her father was against her wedding because of caste reasons and also the Bareilly police was apparently below his pressure.
