New Delhi: In a shot to oust Narendra Modi-led BJP to return to power once more, UPA chair Sonia Gandhi has taken it upon herself to play host to any or all Opposition parties.
There were reports that Gandhi has referred to as a gathering in national capital on the day of the results, May 23.
Sources told NDTV that Sonia has stepped in to build a post-poll alliance when the Congress didn’t build important tie ups before the elections.
Sources aforesaid Sonia has invited DMK chief M K communist, her ally in state Janata dekalitre (Secular) leader H D Deve Gowda, NCP leader Sharad Pawar, province BSP and SP chiefs Mayawati and Akhilesh.
The UPA chair is additionally making an attempt to urge on board TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, BJD’s Naveen Patnaik and YSR Congress’ Jaganmohan Reddy.
However, consistent with the NDTV report, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been told by Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee that there was no want for a gathering before the results. Mamata can skip the meeting, it’s identified. As is Mayawati.
