NEW DELHI: Adelaide Strikers spinner Rashid Khan can participate in his side’s huge Bash League clash against Sydney Thunder despite the dying of his father on Sunday (December 30).
“Rashid Khan desires to play in tonight’s match against the Sydney Thunder at Adelaide Oval in honour of his late father. Rashid’s father died last night and Rashid has set that he can keep in Adelaide and play tonight,” a press release from Adelaide Strikers aforesaid before the match.
“The Strikers offer their condolences and full support to Rashid and his family throughout this troublesome time. The family have asked that their privacy is revered,” the note additional.
