Landslides hamper train services in province

Guwahati (Assam) [India], Jun fourteen (ANI): Torrential rains in province have affected train services within the state, keeping apart property whereas moving thousands of travellers.
As per a unharness from the Northeast Frontier Railway (NPR), a minimum of four trains are suspended because of a landslide on Lumding – Badarpur hill section in province following torrential rains within the space.
Landslides have occurred between Dautohaja-Phiding, Phiding station yard, Phiding-Mahur and Jatingalampur-New Harangajao areas.
The landslides occurred between 1:30 am and 3:30 am on Thursday morning. As a result, train services running over the affected section has been suspended.
The affected trains ar – Guwahati-Silchar quick rider, Sealdah-Silchar Kanchanjanga specific, Silchar-Guwahati quick rider and Agartala-Sealdah Kanchanjanga specific. However, there’s no railroad train stranded at intervals the affected section.
Although the extent of harm is however to be absolutely observed, restoration work has already started altogether the affected locations.
